The Carolina Eagles Junior Hockey Club is proud to announce that Goaltender Matt Forslund has made Turo Jr. A Bearcats Tier Two Team in the Canadian Maritimes Junior A League.  Forslund played the past two seasons for the Eagles USP3HL Team and last season he was also named to the USPHL All Star Team.  “Matt approaches the game like a professional every day.  He works hard at his craft and it shows in the way he plays”, stated Lincoln Flagg, Carolina Eagles General Manager and Elite Head Coach.  “We will obviously miss Matt in our program but this will now give him a chance to earn a potential Division 1 placement and that is what the Eagles are about.  Moving players into a position that gives them the best opportunity for a high level college placement and scholarship.”
